Head for the quieter side of Grand Cayman
for a special setting on the white-sand beach of Colliers Bay
and a stay at this luxury boutique property. The resort offers
a unique respite away from it all, but still close enough to
enjoy Grand Cayman’s main attractions.
Its 74 studio,
one- and two-bedroom luxury suites sit on 1,600 feet of
secluded beach, with snorkeling right off the beach. All are
beachfront, with patios featuring spectacular views of
Colliers Bay and the Caribbean.
The focus here is on
Grand Cayman’s famed waters, with an exclusive partnership
with Ocean Frontiers, which offers world class “valet diving”
and a wealth of island adventures both above and below the
water. A dive shop is also available at the resort, as
well as a boutique, Internet café, gym and tennis facilities.
The resort’s concierge staff can take care of all guests’
needs via e-mail before they even arrive on the island.
Dine in Castro’s Hideaway Beach Bar, offering its own
island ambiance thanks to the resident talking cockatoo, or
the air-conditioned oceanfront restaurant. The show by the
Reef’s own legendary “Barefoot Man,” a shoeless Calypsonian,
is a Cayman institution.
