What Red Parrot
Travel Travelers have to say about their
trips.
|
We had a fabulous time! The resort is
wonderful and you could barely tell it had just opened (no
mini golf, no x-box but other than that it looked 100%
complete to me!).
We stayed in the Italian
Village
room 1228. It was a great room! It was a corner
room so the balcony was a little bit bigger and we had two
views, one of the ocean and then one of the Dutch
Village. It was on
the second floor. I think it was really the perfect
location because we were on the far end of the Italian Village
(close to the Dutch) so we were close enough to the main pool
and all the restaurants, but also close to the French Pool
where we liked to play volleyball everyday at 4. Our
room was incredible. It was a two bedroom suite with a
Jacuzzi, open bar, etc. Our butler came daily and
restocked our bar. I would definitely go with this room
category again because I think the lower room categories do
not have a refrigerator and it was really nice to have juice
and water in the morning, be able to drink whenever we wanted
and we would often take desserts hope from the little bakery
and keep them in our room. The restaurants were all
good. I wouldn't say the food was fabulous but it was
good. Everyone was VERY nice! Most nights I
couldn't decide what I wanted to eat so they would bring me
both! Hence that is probably why I gained 5 lbs!
You have been great to work with and I will definitely
recommend you to my friends!

Perfect, perfect, perfect.
And that includes you. It was the honeymoon I had
dreamed about. Sandals was the best and I don't care
what anyone says. Luxury! Superb food, drinks,
staff. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We
are so glad that you recommended Sandals Grande. We
loved it and we love St. Lucia. We are ready to book our
1st anniversary to another Sandals. Where should we
go??Thank you again for all your help and information.
You really know your stuff!!

| Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You are wonderful! Thanks for putting up with all our
hurricane hysteria. We were sure our honeymoon was not
going to happen with the hurricanes but you made it
happen.
We
really wanted Grand Cayman
but hurricane Ivan changed those plans. Thanks for
taking care of everything. All the changes, moving us to
St.
Lucia and find a perfect
honeymoon spot. We LOVED Ti Kaye. What a great
place and we hope to go again some day. Hopefully we can
try for Cayman for our first
anniversary.
Thank you for taking care of our
insurance. I'm so glad you told us about it. We
received our refund for the Cayman trip the week we got back
from St.
Lucia. If we hadn't had
the insurance we would have lost our honeymoon. You are
the best.

Hey
Tammy! I've been meaning to email you but it's really hard
getting back into the swing of things after such a wonderfully
relaxing honeymoon!
First
off, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts...you
are truly wonderful and amazing! Thank you so much for
the Spa Certificate...we had a wonderful couple's massage on
Saturday morning.
The resort was fantastic! I
really can't say enough. Everyone was super friendly and
helpful (staff and guests alike). We did receive a room
upgrade (to the honeymoon grande luxe) and we stayed in the
Flamboyant building. We never heard any construction,
there were always plenty of beach loungers, the vendors were
friendly but by no means overzealous. We also took a
half day safari (with Leon). It took us
down to the southern tip of Antigua and we stopped over at Turner's
Beach for about an hour.
The weather was good...rained
in the evenings but as Floridians we are used to that.
One day it did rain quite a bit but it was the day we
were on our Safari so the rain just added to the adventure.
Many of the days were overcast so the sunsets were a wash but
it didn't hinder our enjoyment a bit.
I can't wait to
get our pix back so I can share them with you! We also
have tons of video...we got touristy cheesy and did a
'Sandal's Walking Tour' before we left...we didn't want to
forget a single thing! Thanks again, Tammy, in my book
you are the world's best Travel
Agent!
Regards, Heather
PS The wedding
was fantastic too...my flowers and cake weren't quite right
but all was forgotten as soon as I saw my handsome Jay waiting
at the end of the aisle. I was a sobbing mess the entire
ceremony! Jay is the sweetest thing and surprised me
with the wedding band I had originally wanted but didn't think
we could afford...he kept it a secret for 2 months and I
didn't discover it until he slipped it on my finger. I
almost kissed him but Pastor Susan stopped me, "Hang on
Heather, we're only half way there!" I literally floated
through the rest of the evening. Everyone had a great
time, the dance floor was packed, and my Dad didn't want the
night to end so he paid OT and kept the reception going until
midnight!

We arrived at
the Rock House and immediately fell in love all over
again. The property was AMAZING. We had a villa
with a private sun deck, private ledge to jump from, and one
of the prettiest places to snorkel was right under us!
The food...oh my goodness...where do I even start? We
ate breakfast and most dinners at the restaurant at the Rock
House b/c it was soooo good (of course, we had lobster the
very first night!) The staff was incredible.
Peter, one of the owners, made our stay extra special. He kept
sending us drinks, bottles of wine, etc. It was neat
that it was not an all inclusive b/c we didn't feel guilty for
going into town and stopping to eat at local restaurants or
jerk joints (the best was Three Dives- we even took home some
of their jerk sauce!) The first night there was a
wedding taking place and I peaked in...it looked like so much
fun! So now I am encouraging all my friends to have a
destination wedding there :)
The Caves
was....totally different.....still loved it, but in a
different way. The food was out of this world- I must
have gained 10 pounds there alone (or was it from all the
yummy Dirty Banana drinks???) Because there are set
times for the meals, you see the same people over and over
again. It sort of became like a little family. By the
end of our stay there we were all partying in the pool,
etc. The one thing that I loved about the Caves was the
mini-spa (we got treatments there...oh, yeah, and also had
couples massage at the Rock House). We were able to
reserve the private hottub one evening for sunset, which was
very romantic we even had them bring us a bottle of champagne
while we were in it! We had an outdoor shower which was
amazing. We are building one in our house if we ever get
a house! I must have taken 3 showers/day! The mini
bar was always stocked, and we had a neat sitting
area.
We are
already planning on recreating our trip next year!!! Thanks
for all of your help,

Our honeymoon was the best. You made
everything so wonderful and it was everything you said it
would be. I'm sorry I kept freeking out and thank you
for putting up with all our changes. But you were right,
we did see the other room and we're so glad we went with the
honeymoon penthouse. And we loved the concierge
service. We did just like you said, sat out on our
balcony, drank Champagne for breakfast and watched the
ocean. Thank you again for planning the best
honeymoon. We want to go back for our 1st
anniversary.

You know how to pick them! "The
Cat" from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Bahama was fun. Old
Bahama Bay... what a resort. So elegant and
relaxing. Bob and I just spent our days on the
beach. Thank you for our anniversary gift. We did
receive the champagne when we arrived and that was the
crowning touch to all the service we received from you.
We'll be calling you shortly for another island
get-a-way. Where can we go next?

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! We
had the honeymoon of our dreams. All our travel details
were taken care of and our honeymoon guide you made for us was
so helpful. Your knowledge of the resort was exact
and we are glad you recommended Antigua to us. It was
the perfect honeymoon island and Sandals was a great
resort. Thanks again.

We
really enjoyed Sandal Grande St. Lucia. Chris did 4 days
of scuba diving. I enjoyed the pools and beach. We
visited the other resorts, but we're glad we chose the
Grande. I LOVED the crepes at Josephines.
Overall I think Sandals was the right choice.....I
wanted to relax and go no where...and that is just what I
did. Besides visiting other Sandals, the only other time
I left the resort was to go on the cadamaran sunset cruise,
which we really enjoyed.
We would definitely visit a
Sandals or Beaches again.....perhaps try a different
island. We will POSITIVELY use you to book
anything, you were amazing!
Thanks again for
everything. It was a fantastic honeymoon.
Michelle
PS. do you just handle sandals
resorts or do you book anything...??
Chris and I are looking to book
a trip to Vegas in July!!!
PSS. I need to stress again how
so very professional you are.....and how your personal touches
have just made us so happy we chose you. The only thing
missing is a picture of you. I feel like I know
you....but as Chris mentioned the other day...we could
pass you on the street and not even get a chance to give
you a BIG hug!!! Do you have a business card with your
photo on it?? That may be a great idea for you!!
